How We Started
We started as a small alliance of regional candy manufacturers frustrated with rising costs, limited supplier leverage, and a lack of transparency from national buying groups.
Instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, we created a new model: a group purchasing organization built for operators, governed by its members, and designed to produce real, measurable outcomes.
What began with a few companies has grown into a national coalition of independent food manufacturers who now have access to resources, pricing, and programs once reserved for much larger players.

What Makes The Sweet Coalition Unique?
TSC is member owned and member controlled, so the group exists to serve the best interests of its members. This translates to complete transparency in our operations…no hidden agendas, no unilateral decisions, and voting rights for all Full Members. TSC books are open and rebate calculations and distributions are reviewed annually by an outside accountant with a report to the Members. This provides transparency and accountability.
